Dr. Bijan Pourat M.D., F.A.C.C., F.R.C.P. (C)

 

Dr. Bijan Pourat graduated from Medical School from the University of London, UK (University College Hospital).  He was Chief Cardiology Fellow at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.  He is board certified in Cardiology & Internal Medicine in the US and Canada.  He has practiced Cardiology & Preventive & Functional Medicine in his Beverly Hills, California Private Clinic & has been affiliated with Cedars Sinai Medical Center. 

For the past 20 years, Dr. Pourat has conducted extensive research in the prevention of Coronary Artery Disease through reversing insulin resistance and treating the aging process itself.  He has lectured extensively on the following subjects:

  • ‘Cholesterol Myths’ 
  • ‘Pure, White and Deadly’
  • ‘A Tale of three Sugars – the good, the bad & the ugly’  
  • ‘Amino Acids –weapons of mass construction’
  • ‘Prevention of Age-Related Muscle loss’.  

Most recently Dr. Pourat lectured for the CA American College of Cardiology on Staying Young by Optimizing Health vs. Merely Treating Disease.
